Breakfast! Your first meal of the day! When you're watching your weight, it's so important to start your day off with a good meal. It doesn't have to be a lot but something loaded with protein and a few carbs is a good idea. Why is it important? Eating early kick starts your metabolism for the day. It also improves memory and concentration. Studies have shown that eating breakfast lowers levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol, and also lowers chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight. Breakfast also keeps our body clock running on time. Don't skip it! It doesn't always have to be eggs and bacon or cereal. Just a small meal that energizes you for the day.
